Our dream life actually began more than nine years ago when we retired from our professional lives. Bill was a high school athletic director, football coach, and teacher, while I was a high school English teacher and an assistant superintendent of schools. We were done guiding others and got ready to be guided! We discovered workcamping and decided to hit the road in our RV and see what it was all about. I’m excited about starting a blog as I am an avid journal writer, but until now have never shared my writings with the world.
My blog will begin at this point, but we can certainly draw upon our past workamping experiences in sharing with others. During the past nine years, we have worked in Maine, Florida, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Texas and Michigan. We have had a variety of positions and lived within varying compensation arrangements. Most importantly, we have seen remarkable country and have met and befriended a tremendous number of people. Bill and I have discovered that until you travel, you might think that everyone is like you! That is so not true! We welcome you to follow our blog and encourage you to embark on your own journey – wherever that may be!
